Posting and Packing

Online shopping is now 'the way we buy things' (especially during a pandemic) and small businesses like Jules Ceramics are very grateful you came, you looked and you bought!

Next stage is packing up your beautiful, precious purchases so that you receive them in one piece. This involves careful wrapping and double boxing; pottery can be heavy and so the lightest packing available is used; your packing might not be so pretty this is because Jules saves clean but recycled packing that comes into her home; or uses packing chosen and bought from sustainable sources that can be recycled and biodegradable.

UK Shipping

Orders up to £30 are shipped using Royal Mail signed for 2nd Class, charged according to weight of package and normally arrives in 2-3 business days.

Orders £30 and over  offer free shipping Royal Mail 48 tracked/ParcelForce depending on the weight and normally arrives in 2-3 business days.

There is an option to choose First Class Tracked and signed for which normally arrives the next business day, however this is not free on orders £30 and over and is charged according to the weight of the package.

International Shipping

If your item is above 1kg in weight please message me for a personal quoted delivery price.

Jules Ceramics provides worldwide shipping. Packages may be subject to customs or duties upon arrival which you are liable for.
International packages will be sent by Royal Mail and can be sent as International Standard or International Tracked & Signed. Standard which while affordable, does not include tracking or delivery confirmation. Tracked & Signed will include a tracking number and a signature is required upon delivery. You can select which shipping method you would prefer at checkout.

Shipping times will vary upon location, time of year and your local postal service.

Customs/Duties/Fees

International packages may be subject to custom charges, tax fees etc. that are calculated by each country. The customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties and fees. These packages may be delayed by customs; unfortunately Jules Ceramics has no control over this.

Dispatch Times

Jules Ceramics is a small, independent business. Due to this, please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be dispatched. If your ceramic item is being made to order, Jules will indicate an individual time frame that will be discussed with you prior to purchase.

Refunds and Exchanges

Jules tries her best to give you a realistic description of each item she has made and urges that you read the description for dimensions, sizes, what it is used for and care instructions etc before placing your order and making your purchase.

Every ceramic is handmade, therefore every ceramic is unique with individual characteristics, no two items will ever be exactly the same. Jules will do her best to match items to the pictures listed but due to the nature of clay, reactive glazes and firing process there can be variances, such as, in size, colour or finish and this is the nature of 'handmade'.

If you are not completely happy with an item received please do get in touch and email julesceramics@gmail.com for return address details.

Returns cannot be accepted after 14 days of receipt. Unless an item is faulty, return shipping is your responsibility.  If any item is returned in a non-resalable condition (if it gets broken on it’s return journey) a refund won’t be able to be issued so please ensure it is packaged very carefully and I advise you take a photograph. I recommend you insure the parcel. Personalised items are non-returnable.

Jules truly wants you to be entirely happy with your ceramic purchase and will do her best to make sure you are 100% happy with your experience of buying her work.
